Gautam to introduce Niftylift Bi-energy platform

10 January 2011

Niftylift and Scanclimber dealer Gautam will use bC India to introduce Niftylift's HR 21 Bi-energy articulating boom platform to the Indian market. The machine can be powered by either the on-board diesel engine or its electric battery, for increased flexibility.

The HR 21 features a maximum working height of 21 m, and can be driven from the basket with the boom in any position. The unit Gautam will be showing will also feature Niftylift's Toughcage, which is a robust basket built with tough applications and the rigours of the rental industry in mind. It features an impact resistant composite base and robust steel railings for extra strength and durability. Should the basket be damaged in any way, the rails can be replaced separately from the base to keep costs down.

Also newly available from Gautam, although not on show at bC India is Scanclimber's Snake Platform. This variant of the SC3237 combination passenger and materials hoist features a platform in articulating sections, each of which can be rotated up to 45°. This means the unit can be used on almost any structure - regardless of how irregularly it is shaped.

Other features include a 54 m/minute travel speed and 3200 kg platform capacity.
